We're still waiting to find out the level of Socialism coming in the form of a bailout from Congress.
And, in times of crisis, governments tend to grow more powerful. If the government response to 9/11 is our template, get ready to lose some personal rights in the battle against the virus.

If the American people want to bail out someone worthy - rescue a shelter dog. Now is a GREAT time to help a helpless animal while you shelter in place with kids looking for something to do.
As for the other hair-brained bailout ideas - I say be careful who you think worthy of a bailout. Today is Part 1 of Bailout Bandits!

Oops! Congress critters caught insider trading (Selling) while trying to convince the American people that everything is hunky dorey! We shouldn't even be surprised anymore. But we should be MAD.

Senate passes Round 2 of the bailouts. Probably 10 more to go at this pace. Debt doesn't matter. Deficits don't matter. Until they do.

The new "Socialist Lite" GOP considers the "Everybody Bailouts". Maybe, just MAYBE, the American people wouldn't need a bailout - and might actually have some SAVINGS - if the Feds stopped stripping us of our wealth in the first place?
Humpday Health! Beware of the Covid-19 Fifteen! 

Here's the system we've allowed to take hold in the US:
Let the government strip us of 30% of our income each year, making it harder (and for some people impossible) to save for an emergency, and then we beg for a handout when the tough times come, instead of being self-sufficient with our own money.
Is this what Americans WANT? 

Another Emergency Fed Rate Cut fails miserably. Are we in a full fledged credit crisis like 2008, or just in a virus related dip? 

We are only at the beginning of the coronavirus/financial crisis and already massive money is being thrown around. What will it take to save us this time?

The last few years of debate have made one thing painfully obvious - TRUTH is no longer valued. Sacrificed at the alter of the political cults in the US. Whether it's the virus or the economy, facts are irrelevant to most people. They just want talking points to parrot. Mike Madison is NO PARROT.

Bailouts, handouts, increased government debt, negative interest rates are all being promoted as a response to the economic impact of the coronavirus. While the virus will PASS, the effects of these horrible policies will linger well into the future and do far more damage than the disease itself.
