I spent yesterday hearing people complain about the "establishment" while at the same time insisting that we NEED to vote for an establishment (R) candidate. The deathgrip of the current corrupt political system is apparently unbreakable - for now.

What is our nation's responsibility to our veterans? We know they protect us - but should we also be protecting THEM?

The midterm elections in MS were a unique opportunity for MS to break free of the establishment shackles. We apparently decided to retain the chains (for some strange reason), but is the runoff election one last chance? Or is it too risky and MS just loves the safe warm embrace of the GOP establishment?
